I run a restaurant in Randwick and with a full house on Saturday night there’s no worse time for things to go wrong, but unfortunately that’s exactly when the lock to the outdoor smoking area decided to play up. We couldn’t unlock the door, it was inconvenient to our guests, not to mention hazardous, as it was a fire door. I called Nexus emergency Locksmiths who had done some work for me before, rekeying my restaurant and providing me with one key for everything, they said they would have a tradesman out in half an hour. I didn’t expect that fast a response and was impressed with the service. The locksmith arrived on time and had the problem sorted within an hour. He explained to me that whoever installed the lock had mixed and matched parts from different manufacturers, ultimately causing the lock to jam. I was happy as Nexus locksmiths had solved the situation quickly and professionally.

I had to call an emergency locksmith when I was locked out of my unit in Lane Cove. I have never had a key for the doorknob, and my friend decided to push the button in as we left earlier that night. When I got back I realised what he had done, but it was 2am.
